Surrey County Council has announced that following feedback from local residents they are postponing the works on the A246 bridge over the River Mole, to avoid the school exam period. They do not have a new date for when the works are due to start but it is likely to be during the school summer holidays.
This means that the A246 between from south of Leatherhead from the Bocketts Farm roundabout to Givons Grove roundabout, where the A246 joins the A24 will remain open from April 16 for five weeks.
