Effingham Eye: Local Plan Suggestion,, Heritage Open Day, Sports Pitch, Building and Bell

Sir Paul Beresford MP has written to the leader of Guildford Borough Council regarding the review of the Local Plan and developments on the Green Belt.

Heritage Day on Saturday 14 September, has a special EFFRA event of the 40 year commemorative exhibition of the career and life of Sir Barnes Wallis. Open from 9am to 5pm at the Tithe Barn, Manor House Lane, Little Bookham KT23 4EW. Supported by the Barnes Wallis Foundation, Brooklands Museum and the Wallis family among others, featuring displays, loaned personal items and family photographs.

The 3G all weather pitch is nearing completion on the KGV playing fields.

There are issues with regards rebuilding the Howard of Effingham school as there is a shortage of at least £5m.

And finally St Lawrence Church has been granted a £2,800 to repair the clock.
