Effingham goes to the Polls

Effingham voters will be going to the Polls tomorrow (Thursday 22 February 2018) to vote on the Referendum on the Neighbourhood Plan for Effingham. The polling station is the King George V Hall, Browns Lane, KT24 5ND. Voters will be asked the question.

Do you want Guildford Borough Council to use the neighbourhood plan for Effingham to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?strong>

Both Effingham Parish Council and Effingham Residents Association support the Neighbourhood Plan.

All eligible Effingham residents are encouraged to vote in the Referendum, as help determine what development is and is not permitted within the parish of Effingham. Further information about the Referendum and the Neighbourhood Plan can be found on Guildford Borough Council website here

  1. When will the result be known? I couldn’t see anything in the information statement regarding a date or how it would be communicated.
