Effingham Shop Update 2

Currently, the following shops are open at The Laurels, The Plough, and Cedar Nursery.
All shops are observing social distancing rules and are limiting the number of customers. Many of the shop managers and staff are working long hours to keep the shops stocked and are under pressure. We are sure residents will be grateful for their hard work and will respect the measures in place with patience and courtesy. Fortunatly Parker & Son have been able to restock and are reopening.

Bevan’s Butchers
Open 09:00 to 18:00 hours Monday to Saturday
09:00 to 16:00 hours Sunday
Four customers allowed in shop at one time

The Bakery
Open 07:00 to 14:00 hours Monday to Saturday
Two customers allowed in shop at one time.

The Village Supermarket
Open 07:00 to 19:00 Monday to Saturday
09:00 to 19:00 Sunday
Two customers allowed in shop at one time
The supermarket does not normally offer a delivery service. During the current situation it is providing limited deliveries where possible to local customers who are totally self-isolated who can telephone to request delivery 01372 454031.

Parker & Son
Open Monday to Saturday from 10:00 to 13:00 hours
Two customers allowed in shop at one time.

The Plough
Offering a takeaway menu delivered Friday & Saturday: 18:30 to 20:30

Cedar Nursery
Are running a ‘non contact, ‘click and collect’ service for logs and coal, please call for information.
Have an email and phone ordering service, with non-contact local delivery available for a range of items including plants and outdoor furniture.
