Today, 5 September 2018, at a meeting of Surrey County Council and Mole Valley, the application for limited closure of Footpath 75 by the Howard of Effingham School was rejected. This means the footpath will remain open.
Five residents spoke in opposition to the closure, and only one person spoke in support of the application. The School was not present at the hearing. The decision by councillors was unanimous.
