Following a series of public hearing sessions on the draft Guildford Local Plan, which were held from 5 June 2018 to 5 July 2018. The interim conclusion by the independent Inspector is that the plan is ‘sound’ subject to main modifications.
Guildford Borough Council has produced a set of main modifications to the Local Plan, which are subject to a six-week period of public consultation. The consultation will run from 12 noon on 11 September 2018 to 12 noon on 23 October 2018.
The consultation is open to anyone and is limited to the proposed main modifications only. Any duly made representations received during the consultation period will be provided to the Inspector who will consider whether these modifications should be made in order to make the plan sound.
