The January edition of EFFRA’s Newsletter has now been printed and is being delivered to all residents.
It contains an update on the KGV Toddlers’ Playground Appeal launched in late 2017 to raise money to refurbish the toddlers’ playground constructed in 1991. A Sponsored Welly Walk is to be held from 10am to 12.30 pm on Saturday 10th March at the KGV to raise funds for the Appeal. We hope residents with children will join the walk and that other residents will come and support them as it should be a fun morning. There will be tea, coffee and cakes for all from 11.30. We hope that residents will gift aid their donations. In the next few days an online Virgin Money Giving page will be launched to make donating easier.
Also enclosed with the Newsletter is an application form for the Tradesmen’s Register on this website here. Launched in November, it is proving really popular with residents, so we need more tradesmen registered to provide more choice. Tradesmen are also finding it a very cost effective way to advertise.
The Newsletter also gives information about the Effingham Neighbourhood Plan referendum to be held on Thursday 22nd February. Further details on the referendum are available here.
