Millgate have submitted planning application 19/P/01726 /a> for 20 houses at the land at Church Street. This is after they withdrew their previous application 18/P/01924 to build 23 sites.
Effingham Neighbourhood Plan which was adopted on 10 April 2018, states in policy ENP-SA1 that the site is suitable for up to 9 residential homes and a Parish Councile burial ground. However, Millgate state in their planning statement that “…there is no longer any policy rational for the the 9 dwellings figure in NP Policy SA1…”
