A Great Harvest Weekend, organised by The Churches of St Lawrence, Effingham with All Saints, Little Bookham, starts on Saturday 7th October from 6.30 to 9.30pm in the Tithe Barn, Manor House Lane, Little Bookham there will be a harvest celebration open to all residents who are invited to bring food and drink to share and to listen to local musical talent. There will be harvest activities for all ages and information on local clubs to join and charities to support.
The traditional Harvest Festival Service will be at St Lawrence Church at 10am on Sunday 8th October
Leaflets for Heritage Open Day and the Village Harvest weekend are being distributed around Effingham over the next week or so.
