Temporary road closure, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the following lengths of road;-
(a) That length of (D265) Dirtham Lane, Effingham, between its westernmost junction with Guildford Road and the northern boundary of the property known as Pennycopse, a distance of 89 metres and/or any part and/or parts therein.
(b) The entire length of (D265) Dirtham Lane, Effingham, which travels in an east-west direction for a distance of 26 metres to its easternmost junction with Guildford Road and/or any part and/or parts therein.
This Temporary Traffic Order is required to enable Guildford Borough Council to carry out highway safety improvements. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 22 days between the hours of 09.30hrs and 16.30hrs (Monday-Friday) during the three month period of operation of this Temporary Traffic Order that commences on 20th February 2017. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access will be maintained for pedestrians, residents, emergency vehicles, equestrians and cyclists at all times. Vehicular traffic will be diverted via Dirtham Lane, Calvert Road, Orestan Lane, The Street and Guildford Road
