Young Street will be closed for five weeks from 1st August for essential maintenance. Surrey County Council (SCC) will be waterproofing the bridge, repairing damaged bridge joints, replacing kerbs and resurfacing the road.
Unfortunately due to the width of the bridge SCC are unable to use temporary traffic lights and keep one lane open.

Young Street is part of the A246 which runs from the A3 roundabout to the roundabout at the top of Hawk’s Hill, Leatherhead. People will still be able to visit Bocketts Farm, and Norbury Park.
