A-level results 2015: Howard of Effingham


STUDENTS and staff at Howard of Effingham School are “delighted” with his year’s round of results

The school had 150 youngsters sitting A-levels this year and pupils achieved 58 per cent of grades in the A* – B bracket with an overall pass rate of 99.3 per cent.

Headteacher Helen Pennington said: “We are absolutely delighted with these outstanding results which are a testament to the hard work and dedication of both students and staff. We wish all our students well as they embark on the next stages of their lives.”

Among top-performing students were David Hickey with 4A* grades; George Gibbons with 3A* grades and 1B grade; Michael Corden, Ben Brunswick, Oliver Gilliland, Rebecca Bruce, Christian Hughes-Hallett, Alice Saxton with 2A* grades and 1A grade and Chris Bond with 2A* and 1 B grade.
