Following Chris Dick’s third AGM as Effingham Residents Association Chairman Chris has decided to step down
Shortly after unanimously being reconfirmed for a fourth term of office Chris decided it was time to go. He is expecting the first of two grandchildren this month and decided family came first. Chris will also hand on the editing of the website next week.
Chris has seen many changes over his stint as chairman and commented on the very positive contribution of the committee and his disappointment at the departure of Cllr Liz Hogger. Chris said that without doubt the best part of the association was the regular after committee drinks in the local pubs and British Legion. He commented that conversations were always lighthearted and full of humour particularly when Liz was there.
His replacement will be announced shortly.
