Surrey County Council is has budget worries and is looking to save money. It is consulting on changes to the county’s 15 community recycling centres (CRCs). The changes proposed that could affect Effingham residents are closure of the Dorking community recycling centres , and closure of community recycling centres on two workdays, so that they are only open 5 days a week (weekend plus three work days).
