CELEBRITY gardener David Domoney will be on hand to open the new retail area at the Vineries Garden Centre and Nursery in Effingham this weekend.

The garden expert, who presents ITV’s Love Your Garden and regularly appears on This Morning, will open the new facility on Saturday at noon.

After cutting the ceremonial ribbon, Mr Domoney will give a talk on gardening and answer questions from visitors.

He said: “Come along for the ribbon-cutting, and I’ll be revealing my top gardening advice. Plus I’ll be sticking around afterwards to answer your gardening questions.

“I love meeting passionate gardeners and encouraging them to get to know their local garden centre.”
