Effingham Eye: Two Certainties, Housing Developments and Taxes

Effingham Parish Council objected to the development in Church Street due to the number of houses, and inconsistence with the Neighbourhood Plan.

Parish Council taxes are to rise from April, so as to provide extra support to Effingham Village Recreation Trust (EVRT). Raising the total contributions from £34,000 to £56,000

The Sir Douglas Haig has been sold, and is under new ownership.
