The Council Tax Bills sent out by Guildford Borough Council shows a large increase in the money allocated to Effingham Parish Council (EPC). Arnold Pindar, chairman of EPC, will provide further details in the Chairman’s Report which will be sent out to all residents later.
EPC are a Rule 6 Party to defending the appeal APP/Y3615/W/16/3151098 by Berkley Homes and the Howard Trust Partnership into refusal of planning application 14/P/02109 for building a large number of houses on Effingham Lodge Farm. Effingham Residents Association (EFFRA) are supporting EPC in defending the appeal.
The extra money in the Council Tax Bill is required to fund the defence.
