A disappointing result for Effingham Parish Council

In a well-worded 29 page report the Independent Examiner Nigel McGurk  BSc (Hons) MCD MBA MRTPI wrote to Guildford Borough Council that the draft Effingham Neighbourhood Plan had failed in numerous aspects.  His summary is reproduced below.

A huge amount of time and effort has gone into this draft plan.  Hopefully the Neighborhood Plan Team will really take on board both the advice given by the Examiner and the serious concerns repeatedly raised by the Residents  Association. Residents will have the opportunity to read a few of these concerns in the Newsletter currently going out to every home in the village.  Comments from Effingham Parish Council and others will be invited and published in due course.
