Today, 28 May 2020, Berkeley Homes has secured the Effingham Lodge Farm site off Lower Road, by placing large concrete blocks at the entrance, after the Travellers vacated the site yesterday. The Police had earlier issued them with a notice under Police powers under Section 61. Hopefully this will stop any further unauthorised incursion onto the site. The other entrance off Effingham Common Road looks pretty impenetrable.
