Surrey History Centre’s Surrey in the Great War: A County Remembers Project is putting on a drop-in event at the Old Barn Hall, 55 Church Road Great Bookham KT23 3PQ on Wednesday 22 March from 11am to 4pm with free entry. There will be talks and displays and opportunities to get involved in the project. The Effingham Local History Group will show some of the research from their recent exhibition. There will also be displays on show from the 2014 Heritage Day exhibition at the Little Bookham Tithe Barn on Little Bookham and World War 1 which was researched and presented by EFFRA’s Chairman, Vivien White and her colleague Bryan Sherwood.
