Thousands Enjoy Fantastic Armed Forces Day National Event In Guildford
The Duke of York arrives at Guildford High Street.
Crowds lined the High Street to see a parade of armed forces personnel, cadets and veterans, with the Duke of York taking the salute in front of Tunsgate, opposite the Guildhall.
Prime Minister David Cameron is greeted by Guildford MP Anne Milton.
Present was the Prime Minister David Cameron and Defence Secretary Michael Fallon.

The day’s events began with a service at Guildford Cathedral.
The parade passes the Duke of York and dignitaries.
The parade made its way to Stoke Park which quickly filled up with people (an early estimate being nearly 30,000) to see a wealth of static displays from the three armed forces, as well as flypasts, parachutists, as well as plenty of arena displays to please the crowds.
