Eight properties in Effingham and Little Bookham will be opening this year for Heritage Weekend on Saturday 15th September. EFFRA road wardens will be delivering the leaflet below through residents’ doors over the next week and it will be available in the local libraries and shops. There are two special events this year.

Little Bookham World War 1 Exhibition at the Tithe Barn in Manor House Lane with displays about the village in the war. This is an updating of the popular 2014 exhibition to mark 100 years after the war. A book called Little Bookham in World War 1 written by Vivien White and published by the Leatherhead & District Local History Society will be launched at the event. Opening of the Heritage Room at the Grange in Rectory Lane funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund which will display work from its former role as The School of Stitchery and Lace.
