Howard of Effingham School wants to close public footpath after ‘threats to staff and students’

Howard of Effingham School has made an application for a limited closure of the footpath 75, as reported in on 8 May 2018. There is a hearing today on 5 September by Mole Valley and Surrey County Council to decide whether or not to accept the recommendation from Surrey Council Countryside Access Officer to reject the application.

Effingham Parish Councillor, James Nichols, is concerned about the health & safety aspects of residents if the limited closure of footpath 75 is accepted.
