Following the vandalism of the KGV Car Park retractable bollard, which prevented the car park gate from being opened, and causing great inconvenience to everyone, has now been repaired. This will allow the temporary opening of the car park for organised events.
Contrary to some ill-informed opinion, the car park can be opened to any group who can provide marshalling between the opening and closing of the car park.
