On Thursday 24 September the NHS will be launching the Covid-19 App, which can be downloaded from https://covid19.nhs.uk/
From 24 September, the following types of venue will be legally obliged to display a QR poster:
- Hospitality – bars, restaurants, hotels, cafes
- Tourism and Leisure – museums, galleries, gyms, leisure centres
- Local authority buildings
- Places of worship
- Close contact services
- Where an event is taking place in a physical location
As part of the Contact Tracing scheme, people will be encouraged to scan the QR code as they enter the venue, so that they can quickly register.
