Millgate Homes presented their proposals for the development of the Church Street site at the Effingham Parish Council (EPC) meeting on Tuesday 30 October.
Vivien White, Chairman of Effingham Residents Association (EFFRA) believes that the development has not taken into account the effect on the setting of the historic listed buildings around the proposed site. Both EFFRA and EPC agreed that the proposal represented an overdevelopment of the site, and not compliant with the Neighbourhood Plan.
