Plans for the Howard new school and around 310 new homes are due out soon

An early iteration

Effingham Residents Association (EFFRA) has been informed that Plans are expected to be submitted at the end of this week by Berkeley Homes

The Plans relate to a new school on the Effingham Lodge Farm, Lower Road, a new housing estate on the current school site , another estate between the new school and the Catholic Church Lower Road and a further development in Browns Lane off the A246.  If approved then in total there would be about 310 new homes in Effingham.  The profit from the houses would be in part channelled towards the building of the new school – referred to as “enabling development.”

We aim to keep residents informed every step of the way and, to help us do so, we will send out emails to those residents who supplied their email addresses during the Questionnaire process that we undertook over the summer months
