A planning notice 21/W/00104 has been submitted for the proposed change of use of the former Sibleys Newsagents and shop on the Guilford Road, from commercial to residential. This will change the former shop into a flat. Further details are on the GBC website here

A sad day for the village
I agree. Sibley’s was thriving when it was run by Brian Sibley and then his daughter and could thrive again under the right owner
