Welcome to the Effingham Residents Association

Effingham is a rural parish in the metropolitan Green Belt. It is situated 7 miles east from Guildford and 4 miles west from Leatherhead. It resides in the borough of Guildford, in the county of Surrey. Although small it has a vibrant community and is serviced by local shops including a Post Office. It is surrounded by open countryside and to the south is the Surrey Hills, Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Further details can be found here

Sir Barnes Wallis 40 year commemorative exhibition for Heritage Open Day from 9am to 5pm

at the Tithe Barn, Manor House Lane, Little Bookham KT23 4EW. Supported by the Barnes Wallis Foundation, Brooklands Museum and the Wallis family among others, featuring displays, loaned personal items and family photographs. Come and find out about Effingham’s distinguished former resident.
