Effingham Parish Council agreed at their Parish Council meeting on 25 August (via Zoom) to object to the Sir Douglas Haig planning application 20/P/01128 . They are going to object about the changes to the Haig as a locally listed building; the demolition of the coach house; inadequate parking; loss of hotel accommodation; damage to a local listed building along with other objections.
The closing date for comments on the planning application is Friday 28 August, which should be done via the Guildford Borough Council website here
