At EFFRA’s AGM on Monday 20 February, attended by over 50 residents and visitors. David King was thanked for all his hard work over 25 years on the EFFRA Committee. He was presented with a gifts and a card, and becomes EFFRA’s Honorary President. David, joined EFFRA in 1998, and became Honorary Secretary in 2001, before retiring in 2022.
After the AGM, there was an interesting talk by Gordon Jackson, Chairman of The Surrey Hills Society on the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Sorry we were away on Monday but thank David for all his hard. We were also very sorry to miss the talk on AONB especially as we haven’t had an update on the draft plans to include the Beech Avenue and High Barn Road to AONB status.
