Effingham Parish Councillor, James Nicholls, was in Guildford Magistrates Court today, 26 September 2017, following an incident last month on Friday 25 August, on the King George V Playing Fields, when he was arrested and charged with: as a vehicle driver, failing to provide a specimen for analysis; two counts of using threatening language or behaviour or abusive language; and possession of an offensive weapon.
James Nicholls pleaded non-guilty to the charges, and will appear for trail at Staines Magistrates Court on 18 December.
