EVRT recent success in grant applications, and launch of Newsletter

Effingham Village Recreation Trust (EVRT) is the charity that runs the KGV Playing Fields and KGV Hall. Effingham Parish Council (EPC) is the sole Trustee of the charity.

EVRT has been successful in some recent applications for grant. At the end of May, EVRT secured funding from Guildford Borough Council to support their proposed Commemorative Woodland Habitat Trail. Further details are available on the KGV website here

At the end of July, EVRT secured funding from Guildford Borough Council and Effingham Parish Council for a new multi-activity climbing frame in the KGV Community Playground. The climbing frame is suitable for children from 8 years old upwards. Further details are available on the KGV website here

Also at the end of July, EVRT secured a grant to support the creation of a Community Hub and Heritage Centre, which will be located in the village room in the KGV Hall. Further details are available on the KGV website here
