“Effingham Parish Council applauds the enforcement action being taken by Guildford Borough Council Planning Enforcement Department with regard to Three Acre Barn on the Guildford Road A246 between Effingham and East Horsley.
This action, to return the site to its agricultural use and remove the foundations and other unsightly construction is very welcome an indicates a willingness to protect our Greenbelt from unauthorised development by Guildford Borough Council.
This is one of several Greenbelt protections that Effingham Parish Council is pursuing with Guildford Borough Council to ensure the Greenbelt is protected and that developers that proceed with construction in an unauthorised manner find it an unprofitable activity.
The return of this site will be welcomed by residents of the area and the thousands who drive by”.
