On Saturday evening (7 October 2017) an enjoyable village community event was organised for the first time by St Lawrence Church, Effingham & All Saints Church, Little Bookham to celebrate harvest festival at the Tithe Barn, Manor House Lane, Little Bookham. Some 250 adults and children brought food to share and enjoyed a convivial evening chatting with other residents and listening to music provided by the choir of St Teresa’s School, the local Badger Set Band and a folk duo. The Churches and the local community would like to thank the owners, Mike and Carolyn Nicholls, for allowing the community to use their beautiful barn for the event
