Highways England have posted their latest newsletter on the planned upgrade of the interchange between Junction 10 of the M25 and the A3. Due to the high number of detailed responses that have been received, the submission of the Development Consent Order has been postponed from Autumn 2018 to early 2019. The Development Consent order is used for national infrastructure projects, and combines the grant of planning permission with a range of other consents.
Environmentalists will be pleased to learn that a green bridge is planned over the A3 replacing the existing Cockrow Bridge, linking Ockham and Wisley Commons.
