Multiple local road closures during half term

An update on the roadworks in and around Effingham

Effingham Common Road will be closed from outside the property call Phoenix Cottage (just north of Upper Leewood Farm) to outside the property called Terriston (just north to new road being built). From Monday 14 February for 2 weeks until Friday 25 February to allow Surrey County Council to carry out emergency drainage repairs. Diversions will be in place via Forest Road and Guildford Road. Lower Road will be closed for a short section just west of the crossroads with High Street and Church Road in Great Bookham. From Monday 14 February for 2 weeks until Sunday 27 February to allow SGN to carry out gas works. Diversions will be in place via Church Road and Little Bookham Street.

Long Reach in West Horsley will be closed north of Green Lane, on Wednesday 16 February, to allow OpenReach to carry out works on the telephone network. Diversions will be in place via East Lane and Ockham Road North / B2039.

Traffic Lights will be in place at the bottom of Beech Avenue from Friday 11 to Thursday 17 February, to allow SGN to carry out emergency works to the gas mains.

Lower Road near to Effingham Place will have traffic control in place from Monday 14 to Sunday 20 February to allow SGN to carry out works to the gas mains.

Mount Pleasant will have traffic control in place from Monday 21 February to Friday 4 March to allow SGN to carry out works to the gas mains.
