Orestan Lane will be closed between Monday 13th to Friday 17th September, to allow UK Power Networks to carry out power supply work outside The Plough. Residents should still be able to access their properties.

Do we know how we are to get access? Are they just closing half the road at a time or are they assuming we can all go via Calvert Road? UK Power Networks say any diversion needs to be suitable for buses and HGVs (apparently) so not sure that Calvert Road fits that criteria because of the large speed humps and narrowness of the road in places. And then there if the issue of access onto the A246 which as you know is very dangerous. Your clarification much appreciated.
