As a result of the travellers being moved on from the grounds of St Lawrence Church Hall, the trustees re-opened the car park to KGV. However, late afternoon there were reports of further traveller activity in the area and therefore the car park was closed again.
The trustees continue to monitor the situation and will re-open the gate as soon as possible. The trustees regret the continuing inconvenience to users of KGV but the waste (including human excrement) left behind at St Lawrence Church Hall is a salutary reminder of the problems faced.
