Thousands of people have responded to the latest draft of the Guildford Borough Local Plan. GBC estimates that as many people have responded this time, as did for the 2014 draft, when they received almost 20,000 comments from about 7,000 residents, businesses, community groups and stakeholders.
Following the Brexit vote, and the publication of the new 2014-based and household projections, GBC will also revisit both the Strategic Housing Market Assessment (SHMA) and the Employment Land Needs Assessment (ELNA) before submitting the Local Plan to the Secretary of State.
