EVRT Trustees have announced that contractors have now been instructed to install extra security measures at KGV. The work is scheduled to begin in mid-December and they hope there will be no delays due to Covid-19 related manufacturing problems. The cost of the security measures are £10,000. EVRT has used £3,000 from its limited reserves, and has obtained £3,000 from Effingham Parish Council’s Community Fund. It is hoped to raise £2,000 from public donations, which Effingham Parish Council will match-fund up to £2,000. Already over 25% has been raised from public donations.
