Beech Avenue will be closed to all traffic (except to residents to gain access to their properties) from Monday 9 July to Friday 31 August. This is to allow SES Water to continue their important work in renewing the water mains. The closure is timed to coincide with the School holidays so as to minimise disruption to road users.
There will also be traffic lights on the A246 – Guildford Road, between the traffic lights and Effingham Golf Course for the water mains to be replaced along that section.
Beech Avenue will be temporarily re-opened from Friday 27 July to Wednesday 1 August, as required by Surrey County Council, for the Ride London event on Sunday 29 July.
