Effingham Commoners’ Day is on Effingham Cricket Club on Sunday 1 October between 12am to 4pm. Please walk or cycle to the event, there is limited disabled parking available.
There will be teas & cakes, a licensed bar, BBQ at the pavilion, a climbing wall and face painting. Effingham Local History group will have an exhibition on Adrian Estler (cricketer and commoner). There will also be a guided walk on the history of brick making on Effingham Common.
The day is organised by Effingham Parish Council and Guildford Borough Council’s Countryside team. The GBC mayor, Cllr. Masuk Miah will be visiting at 2pm.
