All shops are observing social distancing rules and are limiting the number of customers. Many of the shop managers and staff are working long hours to keep the shops stocked and are under pressure. We are sure residents will be grateful for their hard work and will respect the measures in place with patience and courtesy. Fortunatly Parker & Son have been able to restock and are reopening.

The supermarket does not normally offer a delivery service. During the current situation it is providing limited deliveries where possible to local customers who are totally self-isolated who can telephone to request delivery 01372 454031.

Cedar Nursery
Are running a ‘non contact, ‘click and collect’ service for logs and coal, please call for information.
Have an email and phone ordering service, with non-contact local delivery available for a range of items including plants and outdoor furniture.

What has happened to sibleys looks to have closed
As I understand, the lease has come to an end. The Paper Delivery has been sold to another company, so people should still be able to get their papers delivered. What will happen to the shop is unknown, made even more uncertain with the current lockdown.
I saw today that the haig is boarded up I take that is shut for good another nail in the coffin
Government restrictions have closed all pubs, with no timetable for when they might reopen. That is the reason the Sir Douglas Haig is boarded up. There are no known plans to shutdown the pub, and indeed the Neighbourhood Plan provides some protection for it.
