Effingham Residents Association (EFFRA) has written to Guildford Borough Council (GBC) outlining their primilary objections to the Reserved Matters planning application 19/P/01451 , for the replacement of Howard of Effingham School to consider the detailed design, associated playing fields, MUGA, parking and landscaping work. The letter is available on the GBC Planning website, and is reproduced here EFFRA Preliminary Objection to 19-P-01451.
The key objection is that there is a material change to the boundaries of the school to that which was agreed at the appeal by the Planning Inspector, which will result in a loss of the openess of the Green Belt, and the green gap between Effingham and Little Bookham.
I wish to support your objection, how do I do this?
Write to GBC planning department – see post https://effinghamresidents.org.uk/detailed-planning-application-for-howard-of-effingham-school-submitted for details.
Thanks. Done.
Looking at the pictures of the new school, such as shown in “Tp – front and rear building elevations. a-84102 rev 6” I couldn’t begin to guess where the architect drew his inspiration from:
