Guildford Borough Council (GBC) has opened its consultation into the Draft Climate Change, Sustainable Design, Construction and Energy Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) 2024. The consultation runs until midday 9 August 2024.
The SPD provide detailed guidance on how the Guildford Borough Council will apply planning policy when determining planning applications. The draft SPD provides detailed formal guidance on adopted Local Plan policies that deal with:
- climate change mitigation
- climate change adaptation
- sustainable design and construction
- low and zero carbon energy
