Local Election results

The results of the local elections for Surrey County Councillor and Police and Crime Commissioner for Surrey, resulted in both incumbents loosing their seats.

Lisa Townsend (Conservative) has been voted in as the new Police and Crime Commissioner for Surrey for the next three years, beating David Munro (Independent). The elections are usually held every four years, but they were postponed in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Colin Cross (Residents for Guildford and Villages) is the new County Councillor for the Horsleys ward (which Effingham is part of), beating Julie Isles (Conservatives) into second place.
