On advice from the tree inspector during his annual inspection, EVRT have had to cordon off several desire lines in the woods on KGV due to Health & Safety, and reluctantly public access will not be allowed. This is due to the prevalence of Ash decline and the potentially hazardous dead and dying trees in the woods. A programme to monitor the Ash decline every three months has begun and dead or diseased trees will be felled as necessary.
