Further to the post of 3rd July about the online presentation on proposals for Effingham Lodge Farm, Berkeley Homes has submitted an Environmental Impact Assessment Scoping Report which reveals its intention to build up to 600 residential homes on the Effingham Lodge Farm site, north of Lower Road. The majority of homes will be two storey detached, semi-detached and terraced homes, with apartment buildings of three storeys.
(The Report submitted by Berkeley Homes is a formal application under Regulation 6 of the Town & Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 2017 (as amended) as to whether an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) is required for the proposed development).
Earlier this year, Berkeley Homes cited rising economic and regulatory pressures to withdraw from a scheme to rebuild The Howard School with enabling development of 405 homes on Effingham Lodge Farm and two other sites.
Residents wishing to attend Berkeley Homes’ online presentation of its proposals on Thursday 16th July from 6pm to 7.30pm need to register by emailing info@housegroup.co.uk or calling 01483 561119.

Will they ever stop!? They have reneged on their original proposal which I believe the then Secretary of State pushed through, the school, KGV building upgrade, and traffic calming!
Correct me if I have any facts wrong but everyone who lives here knows the village/Lower Road cannot deal with this!
