Effingham Village Recreational Trust (EVRT) has recently submitted plans for development at KGV. This entails “the creation of a community play zone, including a new toddler play area, accessible play equipment area, inclusive seating area, new and enhanced play equipment, multi-use games area (MUGA), new and relocated accommodation for the existing café (Loolabells), extended parking for the recreation area and new parking at the Milestone Gate”.
We urge you to look at the proposals 25/P/00698 and 25/P/00699,a link to the GBC Planning Portal which provides the details is below:
EFFRA considers these plans represent significant improvements to recreational facilities for residents of Effingham. EFFRA intends to write a letter of support to the Planning Department at Guildford Borough Council unless we are made aware that a large number of residents are against the proposals.
Any comments need to be submitted by the Consultation Expiry Date of 2nd August.
Excellent news. EVRT management has been listening to residents and users of these facilities and come up with what appear to be some great plans.
